We were all taught at one point or another in our lives, the aptly coined phrase by Mr. Jefferson, "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal." For over 200 years now the United States has prided its self upon a document, to be specific, the Constitution, guarenteeing as Americans liberty, freedom, and justice. Yet, why do our people live in fear? It is a fear of terrorists, our own neighbours turning on us. A fear instilled by our government, a government, that by the supreme law of the land, has no choice to protect.

But is the Constitution really so infailable? The Constitution is perhaps the basis of what is American life. But with programmes,(i.e. the Patriot Act) is the government truely holding up a will to the people? Is it fullfilling a democracy, or simply violating the Social Contract?

Curious thing happened the other day.  I sent everybody on my list a invite to the wonderful website, that I have not updated in about 2 years.  Foolish me totally forgot that my dad was one of my contacts.  So sure, Dad, hey maybe this will be interesting, or maybe I can bust him for something. (It has to be one of these two options, becuse otherwise he would have discarded the email as if it were the dope.  So he goes and there's this whole thing about smoking weed and writing music and what not.  And there is also this whole thing about Sir Anthony Smith.  So I get home from school, wondering if I have done anything wrong this past week that he could bust me for.  So, he's not here when I get home.  10 minutes later he walks in the door, "Hello Sir Anthony."  Immediatley I was like "uh-oh" what have I done to myself.  He goes on about the drugs artilce, doesn't a say thing about all of the Bush Bashing that's going on, which is odd, cuz he is a Bush Lover.  And soooo it was weird, because immediately after the "uh-oh". About 800 lies popped into my head and I was ready to use any of them.  Turns out the one I picked in about 4 seconds of deliberation was the truth.  That I hadn't been to the site to do some editing for a very, very long time.  So I guess an answer to the quetion, "What happens when a concerned father ends on their childs website?" is simply that the truth is told.  You must understand it is quite out of the ordinary for me to tell the truth on an issue that could end up in serious amounts of grounding.  Well, I'm not sure if he thought I was lying or not but he didn't ground me or even yell at me.  It was strange, yes a very strange moment in time.       -- Anthony Smith

Well, we have definetly obtained the idea of a band.  We haven't a name yet, though I assure you it will be great.  The starting line up is as follows:  Mr. Quentin Peterson on lead guitar, this guy owns all of your faces, what a great guitarist; Mr. Anthony Smith, me, on lead bass and bakcup vocals; Mrs. Katie Bell on viola or keyboard, look for her insrument she could move around amongst the band quite a bit.  We are currently trying to set up auditions for a lead singer.  We would like to have a female singer, as to make beautiful Evanescence like music.  Otherwise, we could also live with a hard rocker with a great hard rocker voice.  We are also looking for a drummer at the time.  We know plenty of drummers, but none of them have kits and it may be a little difficult to play drums with out the drums.  Either way, I look forward to any e-mails that might concern wanting to be in this band.  Look forward to seeing us famous in the not to distant future.

Bush = Hitler, NO WAY
Personally I hate it when people compare Bush to Hitler. First of all Bush is not half as smart as Hitler. And second of all becuase Bush is killing Iraqi's, not jews. Keep in mind that Hitler is also a better person than Bush because Hitler was trying to accomplish world peace, but Bush is just an idiot who is turning the U.S into a communist nation.
